EcoGram: Household Chemical Collection
The first Household Chemical, Computer and Electronics Recycling Collection of the year is this Saturday, February 9, 2013, from 8am – 12 noon at Lafayette High School, 4460 Longhill Road.
Acceptable materials include:
- Household maintenance products, including latex and oil-based paints, automotive products, lawn & garden products, household cleaning products
- Computer equipment: central processing units, keyboards, mice, laptop computers, manuals, miscellaneous (cables, power cords, etc.), monitors, printers, and scanners
- Electronic devices, including cameras, portable radios, palm pilots, video games and consoles, stereo equipment, DVD and VCR players, ipods or mp3 players and battery back-ups
- Fluorescent and CFL light bulbs and rechargeable batteries.
Televisions are not accepted at this collection
