The Windsor Forest Prime Timers enjoyed another Game Night on Thursday evening, June 21st. We started with a potluck dinner, and then spent a relaxed evening of board games, cards and simple camaraderie. The Prime Timers believe . . . You don’t stop laughing because you grow old. You grow old because you stop laughing. Well, that night we surely turned the clock back a bit.
Some of us are signed up for the September 6th York River Cruise and Yorktown Tour, sponsored by the Historic Triangle Senior Center. The group will set sail from Yorktown on The Alliance Schooner, have a boxed lunch on board, and then return for a tour of Yorktown by trolley. The cost for this outing is $45, and you can sign up for the trip at 259-4187.
We have plans for a few museum trips in the coming months. Please feel free to join our group whenever you like, whether it be for one of the outings, or to attend one of our monthly meetings. We meet the first Thursday of each month at 2 p.m. in the clubhouse.
