From Cindy Favret on Devon Rd
Would the owner of a large yellow tabby cat please call me to confirm that the cat has had rabies shots? In the course of petting him/her Saturday morning on Devon Road, I got bit and am otherwise fine but want to make sure the rabies thing is covered.
Thanks- Cindy Favret (757) 503-0444

NOVEMBER 13, 2011 from 4-5 PM:
WFA Permanent Association Update and Survey Results
We are no longer calling the project to establish a permanent homeowners’ association governed by a single declaration the “Mandatory Association” project, because the name is inaccurate. As you should know by now, you cannot be forced to sign the proposed Declaration. The survey results indicated that there are a few people in the neighborhood who would never consider committing to permanent membership in WFA. In some cases, this is likely because of stories we hear about zealous enforcement of picky association rules and regulations that were created by developers whose primary concern was to satisfy their lenders and sell houses.
The situation in Windsor Forest is very different: The proposed Declaration has been created by WF homeowners for WF homeowners, and it seeks only to establish a reliable source of income for maintenance of our neighborhood amenities (and property values), and to be able to obtain financing when those amenities have to be replaced, with no more rules and restrictions than are currently in place under the existing Easements, Covenants and Restrictions.
If you have a better solution than the proposed Declaration, your neighbors want to hear about it, and especially if you are among those who have said you would not contemplate signing the Declaration. Please bring your thoughts, questions, and suggestions to the meeting.
We would like to either commence signing the Declaration at the Annual Meeting on Monday, January 30, 2011, or scrap the project and actively pursue an alternative solution, as yet to be identified.
